VLC Ministries

The vision of the Men’s Ministry is to develop and strengthen the characteristics of Christ in every man and young man of VLC; that they may become strong, accountable and grounded men of faith.  Standing on the principle of iron sharpens iron, their sharpening is accomplished through prayer, Bible studies, fellowships and men’s events.  The driving force of this ministry is to nurture, cultivate and spiritually equip men, through Biblical teachings, to become Godly leaders and influencers in the home, workplace, church and in the community..

“Gurls Chat” is a sacred space for women to be women! This ministry is a community of women of all ages who are linked together by the common bond of Jesus Christ. Our women’s ministry encourages dialogue on topics that affect women; family, relationships, workplace and self-care. During our Gurls Chats, an atmosphere love, liberty and peace are created where each one is consistently being encouraged and inspired to their highest potential and God's will for their life. 

COMMUNITY FOOD DISTRIBUTION 

The word OUTREACH is defined: to extend or reach further than. Outreach is the activity of providing services or goods to any population of people who may not have access to specific services they may be in need of. The Community Food Distribution program is one branch of the Outreach Ministry of VLC. It is our desire to be a blessing and relevant in a meaningful way. This ministry touches the lives of people, for whatever reason, find themselves without enough food to eat. Whether it is a member of the community living in our surrounding neighborhoods or Partners of the ministry, we don’t leave anyone hungry!  We serve our Community and Partners weekly either by pick-up or drop off.

Our distribution days are Sundays for members of the ministry and Wednesdays for the Community. With the help of Volunteers from our ministry, food items are distributed to individuals and families, seniors and homeless in motels and shelters each week with perishable, non-perishable and hygiene items.

We believe Children’s Ministry is essential! 

This ministry sets and establishes the foundation of Christ and the Church to our youngest Partners. Christian principles and life lessons are taught to the children by anointed and qualified teachers on a weekly base on “their own level”. The children have the opportunity to learn and grow spiritually with their peers and get a sense of fellowship and community all in a safe environment.  This ministry is our pride and joy because sets our FUTURE church up for great success.  Proverbs 22:6 states: 

“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

“Wave of Glory

Self-expression of God through many forms of dance is what we do!! This ministry spreads the gospel through visual interpretation including sign language, step and mime while using various types of Christian music genres. The Wave of Glory Dance Ministry has both female and male dancers and serves the ministry on Sunday morning and on special occasions.

The Security Ministry was established to protect, cover and serve the Pastor, 1st Lady, Partners and the Facility of Victorious Life Church.  Their responsibility is to safeguard everyone from any potential risk or harm; and to ensure that the surroundings of the ministry remain safe and secure for worship. The Security staff are always on duty -- before, during and after each worship service at VLC.

“Praise & Worship Team & Musicians”

With skill & anointing, the Praise & Worship Team & Musicians of VLC are agents of change! Consisting of men, woman & young adults, our Music Ministry Partners are musically inclined, authentic and have pure hearts to serve the Lord.  They lead the congregation into creating an atmosphere of worship, thanksgiving and praise. Their sounds invoke God’s presence and commands God to shift the atmosphere for healing, miracles, signs & wonders. 

Our ministry provides audio/visual and media support to the church in the highest quality available.  The Media Ministry is also responsible for archiving church events and making them available to the masses via social media platforms and print.
